Are dumpsters and roll off containers measured in yards?
Yes, all of our dumpsters and containers are measured in yards instead of cubic feet. Dumpsters come in 20, 30, and 40 yards sizes.
For reference, 3 Cubic Feet (3′ x 3′ x 3′) is equal to one cubic yard.
What size dumpsters and container does Action Roll-Offs, Inc. offer?
We offer 3 Different Dumpster/Container Sizes:
- 20 Yard – 22′ x 8′ x 4′
- 30 Yard – 22′ x 8′ x 6′
- 40 Yard – 22′ x 8′ x 8′
How do I place an order for an Action Roll-Offs, Inc. dumpster rental?
Simply fill out our short Get a Quote form with the following information:
- container size
- type of debris
- preferred delivery date
- name, email, phone, etc
From there we will quickly call/email you with an accurate price quote.
To complete the process, we will request that you fill out our Service Agreement.
Please complete this agreement asap and return that paperwork to our office so we can provide the quickest service possible.

How far in advance do I need to order a dumpster?
We can usually deliver a dumpster/container to any site in the greater Houston within 24 hours of the initial call.
Same day service is available in most cases for any roll-off container if called in before 11 a.m.
All calls after 11 a.m. will carry over to the next business day.
Please discuss same day delivery with your sales associate, as availability may be limited depending on the day.
If you have a special request or plan to rent multiple dumpsters, we suggest setting up a delivery date 4 or 5 days in advance to ensure you will receive the container(s) at the time you want them delivered.
How do I modify or cancel an order?
You can simply call us or email us with any order modifications or cancellations. Switching Dumpster/Container sizes is not a problem.
If you wish to cancel an order or move the delivery date, we just ask that it’s done at least 24 hours in advance. This is out of courtesy for the driver’s schedule & the overhead cost to run a delivery.
We understand that things come up, and our valued customers will never be charged a dry run fee unless the cancellation occurs upon arrival to the delivery location.
What do I do when my dumpster/container is full?
You can simply call our office at (979) 826-2815 or email us at [email protected] and we will book a time with you for the container to be picked up quickly.
If you need another container, just let us know and we will be sure to switch your full dumpster out with an empty one.

How high can I fill up a dumpster with waste?
All of our containers have fill lines which cannot be exceeded.
If one of our trucks shows up for a scheduled pickup and the container is filled past the fill line, our driver will not be able to remove the container and you may be charged a Dry Run Fee.
We will try our best to remind you of this policy, but due to the safety of the public and DOT laws, the fill line cannot be exceeded.
The Texas Department of Transportation has very expensive fines for transporting an overloaded container.
To avoid any risk of violating these laws we simply cannot remove a container that has been filled past the fill line and kindly asks our customers to respect this policy.
Is it necessary for someone to be there at the time of delivery?
It is preferred, but not necessary to have someone onsite for delivery or removal of the container.
The driver will use their best judgment and place the container in the safest accessible area when delivering the container.
However, if an onsite contact is not available for delivery, you may be responsible for any fees involved with relocating the dumpster should it be necessary.
For removal; customer agrees to provide unobstructed access to the equipment on the scheduled pick-up day; if equipment is inaccessible customer may be subject to additional fees due to DOT laws and the safety of the public.
Are there any materials that are not accepted?
Yes, any hazardous waste and toxic chemicals are not accepted and cannot be put into any roll off container.
These items include, but are not limited to:
- medical waste
- oils and lubricants
- gasoline/diesel containers
- fluorescent lights
Certain appliances are also not permitted, including:
- AC units
- appliances containing Freon
Will a roll off container/dumpster damage my property?
We highly recommend that the customer protect any surface where the roll-off is going to be placed with a 4′ x 8′ sheet of plywood.
Customer affirms that any right-of-way provided by the customer (disclosed in delivery questions) for the roll-off container is sufficient to bear the weight of all contractors’ equipment and vehicles required to perform the contracted service.
The customer assumes all liabilities for damages to private driving surfaces, pavement or road surfaces and entire container placement site.
Action Roll-Offs, Inc. shall not be responsible for any damages to any private driving surface, pavement or accompanying sub-surface of any route associated to perform the service that was contracted.

We accept all major credit cards, personal and cashier’s check, and cash.
