Guide to Roofing Dumpster Rentals

Affordable Shingle Disposal

The roof on your home is more than just a pleasing aesthetic–it’s one of the best protections for your home. Similarly, shingles and tiles protect your home’s roof. Whether you are in the roofing business or are just doing repairs on your own house, the first step will be to rent a roofing dumpster rental to haul away the old and unused shingles debris. Whether you’re a roofer in the Houston area or a local homeowner, we can help make shingle disposal quick and painless.

  • Rent 20 yard dumpsters to handle residential roofing projects.
  • Replacing a commercial roof? We offer 20 and 30 yard dumpsters for wood, gravel and other types of commercial roofing materials.
  • Once your dumpster is full of roofing debris, just call. We’ll quickly empty and return the container to you.

Ordering the Right Roofing Dumpster Size

The correct roofing dumpster size for your project will generally depend on the type of shingles you are looking to dispose of and the square footage of the roof you are working with. Three-tab and architectural shingles are the two most common asphalt shingles, with architectural weighing a bit more than three-tab shingles due to their extra thickness.

Typically, we have found that a dumpster rented for three-tab shingles will typically have a lighter weight than boxes filled up with architectural shingles. We recommend a 30 yard or 40 yard roll-off for architectural shingles debris, but you may be able to get away with a 20 yard dumpster for three-tab debris. Give us a call at (979) 826-2815 to figure out which container will fit your needs best.
